Peakford Centre for Entrepreneurial Innovation is dedicated to the development and growth of innovation based businesses across Africa. Unlike any other entrepreneurship centre, our focus is on those enterprises that are geared to adopt and apply new innovation. We endeavour to identify training and incubate potential businesses that are driven by innovation. The aim of PCEI business incubator is to assist innovative entrepreneur or startup and launch a new innovative enterprise, foster its development, support in overcoming obstacles and reducing risks, thus, increasing its chances for success and building successful innovative company.
PCEI Business incubation program provides entrepreneurs and small businesses with a comprehensive and integrated range of supportive services.
How We Do It
We are ever looking for emerging business that need to introduce something new to their current business systems or to the market.
We will then take the business under our wings and using our model, pace the business through the innovation cycle until market introduction.

1. Entrepreneurial Innovation Unit
This is our flagship unit responsible for developing innovation based enterprises. We offer innovation guidance from imagination until market launch.
2. Tech & Innovation Transfer Unit
This unit is responsible for identifying and harnessing readymade technology and innovations and bringing them to Africa.
The innovation incubation Centre is focused mainly of service and product innovation. The initial focus is on start-ups.
Product innovations address the value, features, and quality of a company’s product. This type of innovation could be also subdivided into two:
1. Designing new products or disruptive innovation, and
2. Incremental updates and line extensions of existing ones that add substantial value.
Service innovations could be also divided into two categories:
1. First one is similar to product-centric innovations but applied to companies that deliver services such as financial institutions, banks, etc.
2. Other category is about service innovations that ensure and enhance the utility, performance, and apparent value of a company proposition.
